FOTOFEST HOUSTON 2012 "FLASHES OF HOPE" HOUSTON PORTRAITS OF HOPE

It is FotoFest time again! Flashes of Hope is thrilled to be partnering with our amazing volunteer photographers of the American Media Photographers Association, the Main Street Theater and FotoFest to bring you Houston Portraits of Hope. This beautiful collection of images features the work of 13 volunteer photographers and the stunning portraits of some really wonderful kids. Our opening night is March 28th at 6:30 pm. Come on out and mix and mingle with our photogs, volunteers, and some of our special kids and families. It is going to be a fun night! Just a note. I have been the Chapter Director of the Texas Children's Hospital chapter with my friend Amy for four years. It is an incredible organization that is dedicated to creating uplifting portraits of children fighting cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. The photographs, taken by award winning photographers, and styling done by the best stylists in Houston- help children feel better about their changing appearance by CELEBRATING IT! I have seen this first hand countless times. I know that these images mean so much to the families that receive them. I always love seeing our Flashes families again they just love the work that we do. So if you have some time, come and celebrate with us these beautiful kids and the dedication of all our volunteers.
