Our New Partnership

After careful consideration, we have decided to merge Flashes of Hope into Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. 2020 was a difficult year for the entire pediatric cancer community. COVID restrictions made it impossible to run our photography program or hold fundraising events to raise money for research. While we were able to send our Happy Packs to more than 1,800 kids in the hospital, it's not enough to sustain a national organization.

Going forward, the ALSF staff will manage the photography program when hospitals and camps once again allow outside volunteers. We don't know when it will be resumed but we are confident that ALSF will do everything possible to make it a success.

When we founded Flashes of Hope twenty years ago, we couldn't have imagined that we would provide free portraits to 89,458 children and raise 10-million dollars for children's cancer research.

The success of our simple idea is thanks to the support of thousands of volunteers and donors. We are truly appreciative of your commitment and extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you.

We hope you will consider supporting Alex's Lemonade Stand and all the incredible work they do for children with cancer.

With sincere appreciation,
Kip and Allison Clarke
