prasino LaGrange, ISO Splash, and the Chicago Chapter of Flashes of Hope, gathered at prasino for a recent Harvest Dinner and unveiling of the image art series,"Farm To Table: Live To Give," in an effort to raise funds to fight childhood cancer.

Proceeds from the dinner and installation benefitted Flashes of Hope, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating powerful, uplifting portraits of children fighting cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.

ISO Splash founder, Ramon Nayar - a volunteer photographer for Flashes of Hope -unveiled "Farm To Table: Live To Give," a narrative-accompanied series of images that captures life, sustanance, and the land at some of prasino's midwest farm partners & beyond.

"September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and my husband is a cancer survivor, so it seemed fitting to celebrate the bounty of life by unveiling this powerful, artistic installation," says prasino co-founder and general manager, Peggy Maglaris-Kopley.

The culinary team at prasino LaGrange crafted a special three-course harvest dinner, incorporating produce from Knutson's Country Harvest (Newark, IL) and Klein's Farm & Garden Market (Hampshire, IL) - - two of the farms photographed and featured in the "Farm To Table: Live To Give" exhibition.

"Creating an atmosphere of stories and sentiments special to the owner and its patrons has been such a wonderful and fulfilling experience," says ISO Splash's Nayar.

"We change the way children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses see themselves through the gift of photography," says Carrie Gowans, Chicago Chapter Director, Flashes of Hope. "Volunteers like Ramon help us show that the images are not of sick kids, but of strong and beautiful children filled with hope."
